Trying to figure out where it goes, I know it wasn't in the stock location when I drilled the rivets out of it, while pulling out the old patches.

Trying to figure out my plan of attack for the trunk.

Nick

It should be, 69 and 70 convertibles shared the same hold down and location

The convertibles are offset to make room for the top to set, otherwise you'll be breaking glass or tearing tops.

I cant speak for 68's........

It definitely shows. My NY'er was in Pennsylvania it's whole life, 1 owner, parked outside for 35 years. And it definitely shows..........

Yeah, garages definitely help. Its not just the water, its the gunk that gets in and clogs the water channels

I couldn't believe how deep that channel/cowl drain between the wipers was. It was filled to the top with leaves and acorns. I had to use a shop vac to get all the leaves ouy.

Thats what happens, that water also drains out at the fenders, if it cant get out, rot city

Unfortunatley, my car is a too many owners to count Ontario car, that based on the corrosion hasn't seen many garages and if it has not for long, but it's mostly caused by crap in the drain channels.
