That is nice, great color combo.

Slabs are starting to grow on me. Especially verts.

I understand. A lot of times my sarcasm or facetiousness doesn't translate well in threads...

Was referring to Mark IF he was interested...

nope.... like the color combo, but that's it. I wish some of the MOPARs the guy in gettysburg has were in a bit better cond, all rare, mostly rags and in the good years, 57-71. The Desotos really have my attn, he has a '58 or '59 desoto rag and also a 300-D rag.

I'll find something, just a matter of time.

Mark, I would still call him and let him know what your best offer would be and ask him to consider your offer if the car doesn't sell. Sometimes situations change and he might have to move that beauty quickly......cash is a powerful tool.

Yes Bob, cash is powerful, and something else you mentioned is equally as powerful: situations may change that require a car to be moved quickly.

Unfortunately, the 2 Polara rags I'm somewhat interested in are both owned by men who are doing well financially and do not need the $$, hence the prices are a bit inflated - not terribly high, but a bit high.

They are, as Stan says, fishing. I've nibbled a bit, but in order for me to take the bait it has to be a little more enticing, esp this time of yr and this economic situation.

I like it but am rather bias. The color combination is nice. I'm glad he told us that is an aftermarket dash pad/carpet. I never got the carpet on the dash. My Step-Dad had one the uglist car ever made. I think it was a late 70's brown Fairlane, with a very under powered 2.8, with this ugly orange interior, with brown carpet on the dash.
