Had one of the power window motors in my 1962 Imperial that didn't work. Tore it apart and found that the commutator was all cracked and falling apart. Found a new one to replace it and works perfect now. Also you can easily remove the motor with out taking all the arms and tracks out, just one bolt that hold a band in place and the motor comes out.

I got 5 for $15.00 at Walmart of all places. I could have bought 1 but figured if I screw one up I would have extra. Pretty cheap fix as long as you are OK with soldering.
