Old Man with a Hat
Turned this little gem up at a yard sale last weekend.
It's a Promotional radio in the form of a Champion spark plug. It houses a 110v am/fm transmitter. Fellow said it didn't work but it looked so cool I parted with a dollar bill just to look at it on the shelf.
I opened it up and sprayed some contact cleaner here and there and the darn thing started working...
These radios in battery, am form date from the late 40's to the 60's. The 110v am/fm version dates to the 70's and are much more rare.
I'll probably bring it to Carlisle.
