I took off my a/c compressor and need to get new belts. According to my service manual, my belts with no compressor should go from Crankshaft to Waterpump to Alternator. The alternator pulley does not line up, about 1.5 inches off. Do i go get same diameter pulley with longer shaft to extend it so everything lines up? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

IMG.jpgI need to remove the idler pulley but there still is an offset.

That diagram illustrates what I'm trying to say.
The alternator pulley is the same w/and w/o the a/c.
You have to get the non-a/c c.s. pulley and non-a/c water pump pulley plus remove the idler pulley. If none on eBay, Bouchillon has them.
The alternator stays unaltered.

Soometimes i have to walk into a door a few times before i realize i need to open it. thanks

Don't worry about it. At store and restaurant double doors, I always seem to try to open the locked side first.
