I had one in my 98 Ram 2500 until it was only giving me one speakers worth of sound. I had to stop and buy a cassette adaptor to listen to music off my phone on the drive from Montana to Minnesota, too much open space with poor reception. The good old days when I had a bag of tapes I carried around, simpler times.

Zac, that will only work for Stan if the display changes 40,000 colors. Lol. :poke:

I'll pass the link onto the next caretaker. Thanks, Zac. A year ago I would have popped for it.

Is that the same radio a Formal uses?
Looks like the same unit from a 93 and 96 Ram?

    Plug n play fit.
Chrysler used a single mounting style from 74 going into the early 2000s on some cars. Including Jeep.

Chrysler used a 1.5 DIN radio for awhile. Not too many variants available today. For me it was easier to use the adapter kit and put a standard aftermarket radio in my NYB. I only needed or really use the MP3 port for my IPOD.

Same here. Easier install, and MUCH better sound quality vs the old factory stuff. Yea they look goofy in there. But Ill take the trade off for better sound.

I’ve become accustomed to the Bluetooth feature on newer radios. No wires to deal with. Just turn it on, and listen to whatever you want on your phone. A lot easier then dealing with an aux cord.

After going through three OEM radios (the original and two later year digitals), I stuffed an aftermarket Disco Ballroom radio in there simply to plug the hole. I ain't putting another nickel into radios even if everyone goes "OMG you put in an aftermarket radio you ruined the car you moron".
