WTH? LOL. I have spent about two hours trying to get the dash apart. Anyone know how to get this radio out without removing the AC housing? I mean nobody is ever stealing this radio! I have the 68 service manual, and I don't see how to do it. I've got most of the dash apart, but it looks like there are two screws on the back and then it slides out from the bottom? There's no way!

Also, does anybody know what the factory speaker sizes are so I can order them and have them ready before I start tearing into this thing? Thanks!

I have the service manual, but it doesn’t show how to remove the radio inside of it. It tells how to remove the instrument cluster, but that’s it.
Look in the first section of the FSM. "Accessories". There should be the procedure there.

WHAT vehicle are you dealing with? Not mentioned in the thread title.

obviously a 68 Torino...oh wait, it was posted on the Imperial section but we saw it on recently posted threads so we were clueless...sorry

Does anyone know of a aftermarket radio that fits the AC Delco opening with Bluetooth? All the original radio modification guys are backed up 18 months or aren’t even taking new orders.
