Rear defog vents

There appears to be rear defog vent openings on either side of my 68 Newports rear deck. Was there ever vents there and does anyone have a picture of what they would look like?

Do you have a picture of what your rear deck looks like? Rear defog vents were in the middle, fed by air picked up from an opening in the rear package tray on the passenger side.

The rear defog used the right side speaker hole for the blower motor and the narrow vent hole in the middle of the package tray. Left speaker hole was for...the rear speaker.
Not a good pic but you can see the blower in the right,the narrow slot for the defog in the middle and left speaker..

I had the full rear heater system and removed it for space. See the small squarish hole at the far left(bottom) of cbarges pic. I plan to put little electric heater fans and have them blow out there.
I thought that one of the models did that but must be mistaken.
