WANTED reclining seat back cylinder

i had posted a while back that my seat back on my passenger seat on my '68 300 reclined and some thing snapped and it would no longer stay upright. I was hoping a cable had come loose. Why should it be simple? Now that it is back up over 40 degrees, I went out to the garage and started to take the seat apart. The cylinder snapped where the the bolt holds it onto the seat. I believe it is pot/white metal (correct me if I am wrong), so I would need to replace it.
