Is there a easy way to remove the rear windshield trim without tearing it up? I have never done this, i have some rust issues that I need to check out, may need to remove glass. Are there special tools needed? Any advise will be appreciated.

Here's the tool you need. It can still be difficult even with the tool due to the buildup of debris behind the moldings. It's called a Reveal trim tool.

Is there any tips as to how this works, can this be found at a auto parts house?

Stick the tool between the glass and molding and slide across until you find a clip. Then you need to hook the clip and twist the tool while gently pulling up on the molding.
