Well we have jumped down the rabbit hole and the shop has started the rocker panel project. Replacement of the front stub frame may be in the offering. 15 years of Midwest winter has taken its toll, wish me luck from its. getPart.jpg 20150401_155714.jpg

Best of luck on this project. I grew up with many rear facing rides in these.

Ya this is the second time through the car. The first time as a teen, finding NOS front fenders, replacing the tail gate, and the passenger side door. Among other rust repairs that could be managed in the front driveway. As you can see we're going deep, to get the rust out, and making it safe again.
Been looking at the threads concerning the front Stub Frame, in case that is the best way to fix the rust out under/ around the mounting bolts. So from what I have read only the Sedan and Hardtops have different stub frame assymblies, therfore any other 69' Chrysler product frames will fit? Am I consuming the information correctly, because I am getting ready for the next round of news from the shop. Will a 68' stub frame work, seeing the one on the forum

Some more photos, taking a look under the passengers side quarter . It has a full donor skin waiting to go on after the rocker is replaced. Rust is prevelant, hopefully fixable.

Well the Blue car is at the shop, now to wait until the car gets back in line for work to start. Thought I would share the window sticker.

Some NOS parts arrived, rebuilt power Disc brake booster, some soft items and a wheel opening trim piece. Completes the three that Henry N. Bieker Plymouth found, still in the parts system for me, back in the 80's. Tear down of donor car has started

Went to the shop today, saw two forlorn cars. Donor car has been media blasted. They are getting ready to go.

Your using the back half of the donor car aren't you? I didn't go back to reread your earlier posts

Yes it is the back half, there should be two front fenders avaiable. Will know in a couple of weeks. All the interior, power train, is coming over. Sadly the 15 years of daily driving in rain and plenty of salt around Chicago did huge damage. Starting behind the rear innerwheel wells at. the floor pan seams extending, through, the inner and outer rockers. essentialy non stop to the firewall footwells. Even including the braces above the front stub frame, it became a safety issue. The upper uni body with minimal effort could have been cut away and lifted off. Will be savin the roof for garage art though
