Lead singer of the Outfield, Tony Lewis died at 62 years of age. One of my favorite bands in the '80's. He had a unique voice.

I feared that Mr. Lewis' death would be overshadowed by classic rocker Spencer Davis's passing, much like The Outfields John Sphinx passing being all but ignored because of Johnny Winters death.
The Outfield were an underrated alternative to the over played 80's hair band scene. Great riffs, good writing, and wonderful grooves...
Tony Lewis reminded me of a seasoned Paul MacCartney, but with a much vocal higher range.
Great music.
