I have had these road wheels sitting in around for 3years working on them whenever I could get to them in the back of the shed .They were pretty rusty when I got them. I soaked them with vinegar for a week then cleaned the remaining rust then repainted the black and stripped the argent center and polished one of them the other I painted with Plastidip to get a idea of how it would look body color

I found a set of AMC tornado caps removed the AMC decal then polished them &painted the fins on the top black.
Now I can't decide which I like better leaning towards the all chrome style but with the AMC cap.

Opinions welcomed

I’m partial to body color. In speaking with the original owner of mine, he had this done at the dealership. I like the way it looks. Chrome does look sharp and of course the Agent is stock, I say body color just to be different. It can easily be changed whatever way you decide.

Argent silver to break things up.
Body color and ditto all chrome would be too much. But thats just me.

Another option is 15X7 M body steel wheels or cop car wheels and a set off correct 15 inch 67-68 wheel covers..

For me, either argent or all-chrome.
The all-chrome for a split-second always reminds me of some long-forgotten super-cool vintage aftermarket wheel.
The body-painted wheel immediately makes me think AMC Matador Barcelona.
(The body-painted wheel doesn't have that effect on me on a NYB, because they belong on the NYBs.)

This wheelcover has always been a favorite of mine, although I don't know how it would look on a '68.
