Rocker clips

Does anyone repop the rectangular plastic moulding clips that go along the rocker and hold on the stainless rocker trim along the bottom of the car?

Several different clips were used over the years depending on the car year and model and the design of the rocker molding.

It’s for my 1970 300 convertible and they are rather large rectangular clips that rotate and lock onto small studs attached to the rocker.
I’ll post up a photo tomorrow when I’m home

I'm interested in these also. I have not pulled my rocker trim off yet but assume some will break.

Any tricks to getting them off with minimal damage?

I may have an option with 3D printing. I will be designing a new class soon for our engineers on 3D printing and part of the hands on tasks is going to be designing and printing small parts. If I can get any of mine off in good shape I will see if we can make some.

So, if you go to the link I attached there are two links for plastic clips. If you print these PDF's they are actual size. You may not find the exact clip, but something close enough that it will work. That is what I had to do for my NYer.

Generally with these you put pressure down on the top of the trim and then roll the bottom of the trim away from the body, then lift off.
(some rocker trim have studs in the wheel wells)
