15 years ago my brother bought some parts from a guy just north of Winnipeg. HP exhaust manifolds and 7 inch rims. For his 71 sport fury.
On sunday we were reminissing about mopar days gone by.
HP manifolds led us to him telling me about the car the stuff came from. A 70 S23. The owner had stripped it down and the body went for scrap.
Brother told me he bought the fender tag from him for 5 bucks. He sent me a picture of it.
I see that fender tags are like candy to some here so I figured I'd post it.

A-51 is the code for '70 S-23. There were no S-23's in '71. All '71's were PP23 U1D. PP23 in '71 was unique to the GT series and all production units were U code cars. (There were two promo cars with T-Code engines) This build tag for the '70 S-23 had a 383-4 high performance from the factory. Dark burnt orange with black vinyl roof.
