Safety switch.

I can start the engine whith the shifter in any position, and that should not be possibel. A have the "safety switch" in my 727, but no wire is connected. Ther is a wire coming out of the firewall thats cut off. Anybody knows whitch colour that wire should have ?

Nobody knows ?? Maybe sombody knows were the wire from the switch should be connected then ? :hello2:

The wire from the transmission goes to the starter relay. It provides the ground connection. Not sure what car you have, but on mine it is brown. There should be 3 other wires on the starter relay. The one from the ignition switch will probably be yellow, and the 2 to the starter should be red and black.

I found the wire and connected it to the transmission, and now its working as it should.
