Salvage Yard Auction - Spruce Grove, Alberta - Aug. 16

I'm surprised at the quality of the cars they have for auction from a salvage yard. I know it's off topic, but there is a 37 Packard 2 door in their listing that looks like it's ready to drive. One of many I saw that would be great starting points for hot rodders to build from....unless the whole frame is rotted out underneath :giggle:

I guess technically it isn't a salvage yard as the owner just collected all these cars and didn't part them out. But it looks like he didn't restore many of them or do anything much to protect them either.

I noticed the Packard too. It looks to be the most complete of those I glimpsed at. It would be an interesting piece for any collection, but tough to find parts for.

AHA! I was right. They did make them after 1970............

They have about every model year from about every manufacturer on offer; not many of These Yards left.

She's an early car......med bumper. interesting how the left side of the grille is missing, maybe a superlite car?

You forget I was co author on that book, still need numbers.

NO Superlite.... look at the dash bezel. If it were a Superlite car it would have two holes next to the switches for the Superlite toggle
