The passenger side front window had been slow of late. The other day I went to put it down and all it did was budge. Luckily it budged back up before the motor gave up the ghost.

so I spent this Saturday doing....

But first, I had gotten a report that my brake lights weren’t working. Loose connector. Pulled out the plug and gave the connector a little squeeze toward the back for positive contact on both.

Had been meaning to polish the steering wheel and center emblem. Both came out great. Used some 3M perfect it polish and a little Meguire’s wax.

Pulled a new/old window motor from my stash. Checked operation and tested the drive. Motor fine drive gear was toast. Used the drive and end housing off the one in the car. After first couple of test to set the window. This motor slowed to a crawl. Out with it and reached deeper into the stash. This one works good!
