Scarebird Question

Dumb question time. For those who have installed the kit, Which way are the welded fasteners suppose to face? I'm guessing the first pic so they won't interfere with the Rotor.

Once you mock it up with the rotors you answer all you own questions. I did the Scarebird upgrade on a Dodge truck and the only issue I had was needing to shim the rotor out.
