    I came across this while I was going through some of my old stuff today. Thought it was pretty neat. Times have certainly changed. EPA estimated MPG is a lot more accurate these days too!

    You don't think you can get 21 mpg from a small block, 2.45:1, 4500# coupe?

    Those mpg estimates are easily achievable, if you are going downhill with a stiff tailwind .

    I WAS getting 9/14 out of Mathilda before I replaced the timing chain. Now my city mileage has gone up to ~10.25. I've yet to test my highway mileage well.

    I did that in a 76 Buick about 30 yrs ago. It would be good to take Mathilda up to Bear Creek Canyon, w my tribe, and give them a roller coaster ride, but not until I get that '67 master cylinder installed....
