Yesterday I was channel surfing on the tube and ran across The Rockford Files. I like watching for all the old cars and because they use cars from all the makers.
In this episode Rockford was being held at gunpoint by a guy who tells him to get in and drive what looked to be a Fury. They only showed part of the side of the car. As they are driving Rockford accelerates and they show the speedometer which was definitely a C body. They guy threatens to shoot Rockford and does causing him to lose control of the car.
The next scene shows the car coming round a corner swerving and then goes down an embankment. Problem is, it was a mid 60s Continental!
The continuity guys botched that one!

Yeah, I catch that stuff too. Like a tv shows has family trading in a 66 model car for a brand new 64 Mustang! I think that was “The Wonder Years”.

Better to waste a Camaro than a Challenger

The Challenger was probably not even a year old at the time of filming. Compared to a three year old used Chevy. Simple math. That is a brutal stress crack on the Camaro's quarter. I wonder if the Vanishing point Challenger is still around?

Yes, it's in Finland and is unrestored thus has all the scratches and dents that occurred during filming the movie.
