So I bought a non running, partially disassembled project car in early April. Before I made the purchase, I made sure I had a shipper lined up who could bring me the car and made sure that the seller could hold on to the car for the 4 to 6 weeks the shipper said it might be for the pickup. All went well, till the seller told me the car needs to be out by June 6th at the latest (its already been well over a month), and the shipper informed me that he would probably be doing the pickup in late June.
Seller can't wait another month, and I'll likely loose my place in que at the body shop where I am planning to take it.
Anyone know of a shipper who can transport a no running car from the Kansas City area to the Winchester, Virginia area?
I am trying Uship.com, but have heard that its hit or miss in finding a willing shipper going the needed direction.

I had a great experience with a broker named Ray, I can’t remember the actual name of his company but I had two cars shipped this past winter one of them being completely in operable and had no complaints with the service. It was also hundreds of dollars cheaper than I thought it would be. I referred this guy to another forum member who also had a positive experience with him.
His number is 770-291-6560.

Two or three day round trip, get a rental car, drive there, get a U-haul and trailer drive back.

Thanks for the suggestions. My original shipper of choice is going to try to get the car on the 6th, but I need a backup plan. Have one quote from Uship.com so far.
