She is sitting in Plano, Texas waiting for a lift home to Minnesota. I have my shipper (Dave Fountain) looking for a driver and a (big) trailer. Her previous owner has passed and a small local dealer offered her up for sale by the remaining family members in a trust status. 58K miles. Solid with just a little paint blistering below rear window and some minor surface rust on the front hood lip. The seller offered up roughly 59 nice photos in his ad. Here's a couple. Undercarriage looks nice. I'm expecting there's some things to get addressed with being a typical 72-73 Imperial and sitting around a bit. There's always that trend from carb to gas tank needing attention or a rehab. Been down that road before. I really, really love the color scheme. That's what caught my eye and the seemingly pristine interior. There are some buttons off or loose per the seller. Hard to pass on this one.

***I put my last Chebbie on the market for sale so I had an opening at the San Quentin storage facility.

Congrats Doc! "Pickles" sure looks great. Very cool color combination. I never would've imagined an Imperial in that combo but Damn she looks good.:thumbsup:

Anyone one deciphered the fender tag yet? .... Jay, you're slacking off:poke:

I remember Murray, one of the writers from the Dick Van Dyke Show, had a wife named Pickles. They never did show her, but I remember Laura (Mary Tyler Moore) Mmmmmmmmmmmm hubba hubba!

Damn! Are there any ‘73 Imps left? LOL.

Looks great! Love the color combo. I really need to get me one. I’ve always wanted a 2dr ‘73, but the 4dr’s have grown on me quite a bit.

Fairly certain Doc could help you locate one, the man is a human Imperial magnet!

This turned out to help the 72/73 ratio for me being a '72...three 72's & four 73's.
Zac they're out there. There hasn't been many green ones for sale though...However, there is another green one on East Coast still for sale I believe.

Never mind Carlisle, I'd rather see Doc's Imperial collection.
Someday I'll have to make it to Carlisle...maybe if I ever retire and travel:confused:...seeing other members in person and seeing their old iron would be a thrill.

Congrats! Agree on the beauty of the color scheme: the green really pops thanks to the white. Enjoy in good health!

She's not perfect...which is ok with me. I like unique blemishes. I'm taking that steering wheel cover off immediately...we know there's a couple cracks under there. I have a couple body guys that can deal with lower dent and the hood rust.
