AKA John and Horace’s house.:)
My car club had a photo op with the 47 dodge you see in the pictures. We have adopted this pick up as a club and get to help the Foundation with its care and maintenance for the year. It was a neat opportunity to spend some time with it on this amazing and historical property.
It was a weekday so club turnout was pretty light but I was happy to be able to breakaway for the fun and decided to take the Dodge. Four out of five Who showed came with their convertible’s.

I've made that trip a few times when they still held the Concourse De Elegance there. I even got the grand tour of the home one time. It's ah truly unbelievable little Ponderosa, lol

Your car looks great! Are any of the vehicles in the garages from the Dodge family? I realize the ones pictured on the right are too new to have been the brothers' cars. I would love to see the estate myself someday.

Yes there are a couple of them, including the last 1 owned by John briefly before he died. It’s inside the museum along with things like original toolboxes and desks etc. adjacent to the long garage in the pics.

Great photos, but a swanky joint like this should have an Imperial in the driveway!
I haven’t gotten the silver one out yet but I think I still would’ve taken the Dodge.

A fascinating place. All the building materials were imported from around the world. Each chimney, there are several of them, is different from the rest.
I still think it was a much better setting for the Concourse then the present location.

Wonder if the Groundz keepers had to deal with too many tire trackz after the event, the poor solez. I just know that had to work them half to death one time for the year? Jer
