Some photos taken after getting her ready for parade duty.

Is that by any chance Krautmaster's old Newport? He was such a great source of info and happy to share it with all of us here & on the Dry Dock. Beautiful 'vert you have there.

Gotta say thanks for preserving this beautiful example. I am amazed how the designers managed to do something so different yet so clean. Then you have the driving experience that's just as exciting yet comfortable and easy.

That engine compartment is beautiful! Initially, I was going to do the firewall body color on my 68, but have the rest (wheel wells, core support etc.) painted black. I recently started having a change of mind and thought about just doing it all black, especially to showcase the newly rebuilt 440 that will be "dressed up", but I wasn't sure how it'd look! Now that I can see another 68 with a black engine compartment, I realize how clean it looks. I'm really digging it and I think I will end up going for this look.
Have seam sealer on the way, going to do some final prep and then get to working on sealing that firewall up. After that, it's paint and then motor goes in for a break in!

Great day, parade went well, then she developed an exhaust leak; what size is the missing nut?
