So I recently purchased estreet aluminum edelbrock heads for my 1978 440rb engine and after installing them and riding with them for a month or so I went to change out my spark plugs and couldn't get my number one out because the head was covering enough of the spark plug I couldn't get a socket on it to get it out. long story short are their spark plugs available to avoid this problem like shorty ones or will I have to get the heads machined down so I have no clearance issue. what would be the better option thank you

You'll have to grind down the exterior circumference of your socket. Thin the wall a bit. Or buy a plug socket that's already thinner.
