For my '69 300. I searched, and am still searching....but looking for some pics of proper routing of sparkplug wires. I believe I have all the proper brackets/posts and the wire holders, but not sure. My wires were installed by PO, and looks like he just ran them randomly. Please advise. Thanks!!

found some stuff by searching 'wire routing', was searching 'sparkplug wire routing'.

Would of thought 'wire routing' was too broad of a search. hmmmm

Here is the sparkplug wire from my 69 300. If you need more pics ,let me know.

Thanks David! Helps a lot!! I think I have most wires routed similar, except the one above the valve covers are too long. Will need to remedy this. Thanks again!!

Those are good pics, David. I've been researching this for my car (and have been buying all the necessary Hoffman looms, new plastic insulators, wires, tan cap, etc) and your setup looks good. But why not add the round plastic insulators to your valve cover brackets for that 100-point concours look?

I'll be using black MSD 8mm wires, and have (carefully!) drilled all the various insulators to 19/64ths to accommodate the larger-than-7mm wires.

Trace 300 Hurst, there on my list of accessories I need to acquire. I do drive on the summer weekends, never considered this a points worthy car. If I could find a pair at a reasonable price, it would get done.

They are available through Mega Parts, I grabbed a four pack for my car last year. Cheap enough.

Hoffman's Winners Circle Ignition Wire Brackets

"AX005" - Ignition Wire Insulator - $2.25 each

Injection molded reproduction in correct natural nylon. Used on 273ci, big block, and Hemi engines to insulate the ignition wires from valve covers or wire routing brackets. Used in "J" and "K" brackets.

You can't buy direct from Hoffman. But lots of places carry them.
