Your post mentions "1970", yet the picture with the ignition switch where it is indicates "1969" model year. Not sure how much difference it might make on the steering wheel, though, yet the referenced website has different part numbers for '69 and '70.

It's behind the wheel, that is a 70 dash pad too. Now I'm confused

The 70 has the wood trim strip ... the 69 has stitching .

He has a 69? He posted a photo of the Black 69 Monaco, presuming for reference.
You posted a picture of his car, which is a 70 or is a 69 with a 70 interior?
