One of my favorite all time cars. I used to have quite a few 2 doors, but decided I didn't have enough time left to do any of them, so I sold all 6 of them all to a collector in Northern California who will restore them to as new. He even has a full time mechanic on duty year round and I have worked with the guy - he is very good at what he does. So they are all in good hands..........................

The Imperial in your photo above is a Crown. The only better looking 4 door was the Le Baron as shown in this factory photo at the West Warren Ave., Dearborn assembly plant back in the day:
Those were glorious years in the automotive industry and Chrysler led the way in all respects in my opinion. Those cars in that period made me nuts and I still am! But you know that.

I will be able to see this 61 on the big screen tomorrow as our local Cinema will Play "Lover come back" with Doris Day and Rock Hudson tomorrow night.
