One of life's PITA's; I got a striped carb stud on my Edlebrock performer intake. Yes, its my own damn fault trying to lock a bracket down, I tried to give the nut one more spin for good measure while I was installing new throttle and kickdown cable parts..irony of it all is the hard part (getting under the tranny to switch out cables) is finished SOB! :angry1::angry1::angry1:
So I''ve heard about the Heli-Coil repair system...anyone had sufficient luck with this? Are there any other remedies for this? I'll walk EVERYWHERE before I cough up more bucks for another intake manifold.
