First date for my wife and I (before we got married) was at York US 30 Drag-a-way. Art Arfons and the Green Monster was there that night. I'll never forget it. . .

Would that strip be Eureca rd. south of Metro Airport or Ecorse rd. from the WWII Bomber Plant to Bellville rd. You do know they staged B-17 on that street don'tcha? That stretch of Ecorse waz laid down so thick that even after almost 75 yearz they have barely had to make any repairs on it. It'z ah 1320' X 4+ straight az an arrow and flat az ah pancake comin' and goin'. Found that piece of concrete in the summer of '58 with ah screamin' Baby Hemi in ah '57 Desoto. Drove that DeSoto from Ypsi to Holland on the 29th of December on my wedding day in just under 2 hourz throwin' ah white rooster tail all the way. I miss that Black and White Tri-color Fined Beast to this day, lol Jer
Will always has the stories at the shows. Best yet, he carries pictures and service bulletins to back it up
