TELL ME ABOUT 1962 NEW YORKER

Came across a '62 NY. A and B bodies, no problem. A 1962, its a big question mark. If I make the deal, I'd like to change the brakes to disc/drum, more modern shocks and the front end will probably need a full redo. Most of my rides wind up and overpowered street cars, somewhere down the road. Any help?

Steve Hobby has that car and he has 4 wheel disc brakes an OD trans behind the 413 among other great mods and tricks.
