I think just about the coolest thing I saw there was the 1955 Imperial Body on the 2006 Magnum chassis. So impressive!! There was also a 1955 300 on a 2017 Hellcat chassis done by the same crew. Blew my mind!
Also the green Dodge Charger Daytona in the building was very cool. Someone had a tricked out Neon with a clear coolant line and clear timing belt cover. I'm not really into that kind of thing but that car was really impressive and
looked great. The father and son that did the engine swaps in the Miradas--30 years ago putting a Dakota V6 in my Mirada was a dream. Cool to see it in reality. Talking to people who are so proud and excited about their cars, sharing stories, priceless!
OH, and seeing a 1969 Imperial parked along Hanover street at dusk. Looked even MORE impressive against the backdrop of the modern world than it did on the show grounds. Almost made me think a movie star had just arrived!
