I got my Tilt-A-Scope steering column back together correctly (minus the hazard flasher switch, and the cruise...its a long story).

Since I couldn't find this information ANYWHERE on the net (including the corvette guru websites and forums), I'd like to share how these little bastards actually go into the column. Super handy for those who didn't take pictures because "I'll remember how this goes together, as not all of my hair is grey". Yep, I totally lost that battle.

The first pic is the square shield in the Chrysler (Saginaw = GM) column. The 2nd pic is my shield in an actual GM column from a GM car.

I didn't get pix of the 2nd bigger shield since I was focused on getting the column back together correctly and before I ran out of daylight. The third pic is where the bigger shield would go, it creates a bit of a tube for the wires to safely route up to the turn signal stem hole.

I hope this helps someone someday.
