It's a bummer but the Convertible has to be put to sleep till spring. While its sleeping the instrument cluster will be coming out for some repair and the sending unit also will get some attention. Its nice to store it on my property and not at my friends storage unit.

Always a sad moment to put the c-body back in the garage.

It's like, it's like...Puff the Magic Dragon went back into his cave and the fun is over. (think Peter, Paul, and Mary)

Then I have to go back to being a responsible adult.

We've been lucky here n Niagara area, no snow yet. The temps are really low compared to the Cdn Thanksgiving weekend though.

So I've had to put my 300 "to sleep" because of the roaring heat here in Florida, including today, October 15. It's murder to work on a car when all you can do is wipe the sweat away. And until I can rehab the entire AC system, it's not much fun to ride around in. Hot. Hot, hot, hot!

Can't wait until November so I can work on and enjoy the car. January is perfect. Sweatshirt weather....

But no road salt to contend with, either. :D
