Tire Size for 1954 Chrysler New Yorker

What is the tire sizes that will fit on a stock 1954 Chrysler New Yorker? I'm thinking about going with radial white wall.

Radials aren't safe on the stock '54 rim because of how the bead sits.

Coker themselves can give you the best advice, both in what would be authentic or what would be the best upgrade. I don't know if wide whites are correct for '54.

Don't forget to check around....For my '59 Imperial, 25 years ago I purchased General Dual 90 (2 1/4" ww) from Lucas Tires. No dry rot or problems to this day but probably getting new ones this year. If you attend a large Old Car Show see if the tire company will be attending and bring your tires there for FREE. It will save up to $100 in shipping costs. There are some cosmetic blems on ebay but not my size.
