For Sale Too weird not to post: '63 Dodge Polara with suicide doors

Alright, first a confession--I've always loved the '63 Dodge full-size grilles. i know they're not everyone's cuppa joe. What on earth do you suppose motivated the suicide doors here?

1963 Dodge Polara.
New brakes new brake lines new tires new gas tank sending unit fuel line new carburetor new fuel pump. Mono hinge aluminum suicide Door Hinge kit alligator skin door panels.
Runs and drives great.
With the 318 automatic push button.Trades considered.

I kinda like the suicide doors , it’s close enough to a factory four-door you can’t really notice it until the doors are open and different enough to catch My eye. Would I buy the car? Probably not .

I've always liked the shape of the '63-'64 Polaras. Lots of neat little touches and aero features! The grille/headlights can take some getting used to, though.

All things considered, that conversion was best done on a sedan rather than a hardtop, I suspect. So stock-looking as to make the door handle placement "invisible" until you look twice. Add some 15x6.5 '75 Charger Rallye wheels and the handle placement would be even more "invisible", I suspect. Nicely done, even if it is a mundane 4-dr sedan!

Its been up for grabs for a while..... I prefer the look of the '63 to the more iconic '64 Dodges as well.
