Trunk seal supplier

I'm suspecting it will be the same physical roll-goods weatherstrip as 1965-1968 C-body non-station wagon cars? Steele Rubber online catalog, most probably? They should have some side profile and dimensions illustrations in the catalog, for verification of what you need.

Should not need any adhesive to hold it into the rain channel on the body, but some silicone sealer (NOT the typical "weatherstrip adhesive"!!!!!) so later removal is not very hard to do, if needed. Some sealer can be applied to the resulting "butt-joint" when done.

Enjoy!

Curious why, with '67 and '68 being "the same car" in most respects, they would catalog '68 as different?

Just curious,

That I don't know, just a different part number. I would say, whoever their supplier is knows of a difference. 67 may work just fine but it may not be "correct" .

the trunk on a 67 comes to a point in the center...but I don't know if the seal area follows this or is straight across...

Perhaps the actual rubber items are identical, just the '67 might be a few inches longer due to the possible longer sealing surface? As they sell a "ready-cut length" for each vehicle?
