'76 Gran Fury. Refreshed the front end including the upper control arm bushings. Can't find a specification on how tight the nuts need to be on each end of the pivot bar.

Anyone know the proper torque spec? Or just "really tight"?

Thanks in advance.

A formal has big bolts that hold the pivot on frame like a GM not cam bolts like the rest. They are a fairly large hex like 13/16 or 7/8 so 9/16 or 5/8 shank would put it in the 100 or so ft.lbs neighborhood.

The first Mopar I had my hands all over when I was 14-18 or so was a 77 Gran fury wagon, 400 lean burn TQ. Next was a 74 Dart Sport /6, 3spd manual. Then a 76 Cordoba, all before 19 years old. I stripped a 74 Fury a few years back. It was mentioned in the Mopar Action article, and it has also been mentioned/discussed here and I just remember them being quite large.

I was unaware that you busted knuckles on Formals.
I now officially proclaim that you are qualified to own one of these 25 hundred dollar jewels.
