Suspect the answer is "obsolete/not available" but am presently tackling the rear side windows on my 2door Hardtop which had been "decommissioned" at some stage(as in the switches disconnected and connectors cut off). So stripped it down and got the motor off and tested that, it functions fine although am cleaning that and regreasing the mechanism.

Lowered the glass(driver side) and there's lots of corrosion and oxidisation of the remaining mechanism but it's complete and recoverable. However I'm looking at the upper seal(the one that runs along the A pillar and all along the roof rail), the seal that mounts on the quarter glass(as the 'B' pillar) and to establish whether there's a scraper seal?

Given quite how deteriorated my seals were I'm taking a gamble and going to try and make early 70s Challenger seals work. The fixing on the start of the A pillar looks about the same, but first I need to clean loads of silicone from the roof rail.
The profile isn't too far apart and fresh foam rubber should work better than stiff and perished ones.

That comparison looks promising. Lets us know how it goes .

Hi, How was the fitting. I am thinking to use a charger weather seal for my 72 Chrysler Newport, but I am curious your experience. I am at Hungary and to order that from us is expensive, so I would not order it if you do not have positive experience.

Hi, I haven't got round to reassembly as yet, offering it up it looked positive but I've found further rot

Hi, I bought a charger roof rail seal as well and tried it how to fit. It looks good, same fit and profil. It is good for my 72 Newport 2dr, because it is longer than need. So, I can cut the rest. The differences are in the head and the fixing to the body. There, you need to do some DIY work. But it is possible, because there is enough material to do some good shape cut. The other differences the fixing clips. Chrysler does not have holes for them, but you can remove those from the seal easily. I attache some picture. I am working to tear down my car for the repaint and tried the fit. So the charger roof rail seal is good for this C body 2dr, but need to do some DIY work at the head, but the profil is the same and same fit!

BTW, what clips/screws are under the vinyl top trim. I saw some plastic ones when I tried to remove, but at the end of the trim at the quarter window, not really moves. Is there screw at the end of it? Do you know?
