  1. So my parts manager looked bored the other day so I had him go through an old Mopar Performance Catalog to see what was still laying around at the Parts Depots and Dealers in Canada and the USA. Here are a few things he came up with. As of today they are available and I will be happy to provide pricing plus shipping Canada or US. If you have a part number you want me to search for send me a PM. Keep in mind these are original Mopar Performance parts sitting in Parts Depots and on Dealer's shelves. Pricing is in Canadian dollars plus shipping.

the electronic conversion distributor, should work on a 69 383 two barrel

Question to 'doba.
If perchance by some fluke some dealer somewhere shows that a 1969 Hemi something or other is still in inventory, would the list price, as far as FCA is concerned, still be listed at the 1969 price?

I recently bought a hard to find turn signal switch out of an Alabama Chrysler dealer stock for less than it was being offered through suppliers of nos parts and it even came with a nifty Chrysler baseball cap.

Every partz price in every warehouse has felt the cattle prod from the new Mopar Boss...I think he'z still trying to figure out how to remove the Pentastar off the World Headquarterz without making the building collapse.

69 ' 383 two barrel carter, B block I believe, with points is application.

I found a set of 4 Dark Argent Center Caps on a Dealer's shelf down East. I have them in stock if anyone is interested. $119 plus shipping each.(Canadian)

Sorry C1 missed your question here. Part numbers will change up year over year until they go no longer serviced so to answer your question if a part made in 1969 went NLS in 1977 and was found on a shelf in 2016 the inventory value would be the 1977 price but because inventory is counted 2-3 times a year old stock is usually tossed - garage sale - or returned to chrysler. Dead inventory hurts parts profitability and eats up return credits

That's why I suspect 95% of the so called NOS stuff scrounged from old dealer closings and in opened packaging are the defective parts removed from a car under warranty awaiting the Zone Manager's inspection.

Back in the day when a Dealer removed a "defective" part and made a warranty claim they kept it for 30 days in case the Zone Mgr asked to see it. Now nearly everything goes back to FCA so they can roll over on the supplier. Those parts that sat for 30 days were packaged up in the box the replacement came in and shelved sold scavenged or tossed after the 30 day hold so you may be correct. Btw when Ford started blaming IH for all the Powerstroke issues and was jamming defective motors up their butts IH told them to pound sand thats why Ford had to build their own diesel IH had enough of the BS warranty claims

Those are nice, I think that's about what I paid for the set on my vert 5 years ago, '71 only.

I see it as rape the old Mopar guys opportunity days when stuff like this shows up...:poke:
