vin# on engine

Hi, Are the 1968 440 cid vin# stamped in the back by the send unit on C bodys? I've seen them many times on B bodys. Any pix examples

YES..THOUGH MANY 68 NON HP CARS HAD NO STAMPINGS..

My 68 road runner has the partial VIN stamped on the back of the block (top side) on the radius where it's mounted to the transmission (727) which also has the number right next to it.
