I have an old Radatron tach that is pretty period correct that has been sitting around for years. Does anyone know of any tachometer repair shops in Canada capable of converting it to run with an electronic ignition and without a tach box?

I somewhat suspect that what you might desire is not really possible. OR very expensive to do, if it might be. But you might be able to get a modern tach and put the face/case of your existing tach on it?

There are businesses stateside that perform these services. If need be, I'll send it to one of those. I just wanted to find out if there were any in my area first.

Give these folks a call. They're just north of Kingston so not far from you.
Good people to deal with. If he can't do it, he probably knows who can. Finding an Autometer type stepper motor and replacing the movement currently in it should solve the problem if Premium doesn't have an electronic solution for you.

Good find! I noticed that they modernize old radios as well. Something else I was interested in getting done eventually.
