Was the 318. The standard engine in 68 Fury III

I had a 68 Fury III back in the 80's. It had the 318.I remember that Sport Fury and VIP had the 318 standard

The 318 was the base engine in 1968 for the Fury III, Sport Fury & VIP models. However, you could downgrade a Fury III to a slant six and they made some Spring Special type of editions on the Fury III that had the slant six. This also applies to the 1967 Furys. Fury I & Fury II's had the 225" slant six as the base engine.
