@Mingo -- good looking 1967 Polara (if I see correctly)! What are the reflectors on the front fenders? @LocuMob

I see that you are in St Louis. You may be interested in joining the 2022 CATL run on Sept. 17.

Ayiler,
Hi.
Those light up when the headlights come on. Driving lights.
Thanks for the tip.

Mingo
I had not seen square ones before, hence my question. Thank you for answering my question !

Hi.
That Polara is a original survivor. It’s 55 years old and amazing shape for that age. 3rd owner. This came with the window sticker that had a “white hat” option which included some goodies like the vinyl top, fancy hub caps (which are gone), radio upgrade, very cool steering wheel, rear window defogger, undercoating, etc.
It has a 318 2 barrel w/ a 727 which I believe is probably why it lasted for so long. Someone rebuilt what appears to be the top end because it runs like a watch and has a rear main seal leaks. The 318 is not fast but it sure cruises nice. Drives like a boat should.
Rust on the edges of the wheel wells for character… However the bottom looks really clean. I’m hopeful joining will allow me to locate some parts.

Welcome from North Dakota.
That looks like a very nice ‘67 Polara.
Starting in ‘68 the marker lights were federally mandated (round in 68 on Polara and Monaco). In ‘67 they were optional so that could be why they are square. The tail lights and side trim were also different from the ‘68s.
If we could have a picture of your fender tag we can probably help decode some of the factory options and scheduled production date.
Welcome from another Polara owner.
