    Finally some truth.

Four individuals — two in Washington, one in Oregon, and another in California — have been arrested for arson as firefighters battle dozens of blazes across the West Coast. One of the arrestees is reportedly a “regular attendee” of anti-police rallies in Seattle.

Michael Jarrod Bakkela, 41, has been accused of arson, partially sparking the massive Almeda fire, according to the Oregon State Fire Marshal’s Office. Oregon Live reported that he has been arrested on “two counts of arson, 15 counts of criminal mischief and 14 counts of reckless endangerment”:

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Friday afternoon that on Tuesday evening, a resident of Phoenix saw a person, later identified as Bakkela, lighting a fire behind their house on Quail Lane. Because there was an impending blaze, the residents who saw him set the fire had to flee their home.

Bakkela was arrested and initially lodged in the Jackson County Jail on Tuesday on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He remains in jail on the arson and criminal mischief charges.

The Almeda fire has destroyed at least 700 homes and resulted in at least two fatalities.

Elsewhere, authorities arrested two individuals in connection with the fires in Washington. One of the suspects, Jeffrey Alan Acord, has been accused of setting a fire along Highway 167. He live-streamed himself on the scene of the fire and reported it to police, claiming that he “literally pulled over to call it in.”

“Other drivers, however, told police they watched the 36-year-old Puyallup man walk into a field carrying a lighter and cardboard,” KIRO 7 reported. The outlet added that Acord is a “regular attendee at Seattle ‘defund police’ rallies.” He is also facing charges for allegedly breaking into a gas station.

Jacob Altona, 28, has also been arrestedin connection to arson.

Additionally, Anita Esquivel, 37, has been arrested for deliberately setting fires in California, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The news comes as Democrat politicians continue to blame the fires across the region on climate change. Politicians, such as Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), are largely using the devastation to push for a Green New Deal but continue to ignore the reality of poor forest management and environmentalist policies that contribute to the massive wildfires, such as putting an emphasis on “fire suppression” rather than prescribed burning.

Despite that, Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) has used the tragedy to declare the debate around climate change over for good.

“The debate is over around climate change. Just come to the state of California, observe it with your own eyes,” Newsom said with a grin. “It’s not an intellectual debate, it’s not even debatable”:

This was supposed to be a pic of that idiot newsom. Sorry the sites antibodies must’ve rejected him...

What an absolute piece of shit this guy is...

On Saturday, the National Interagency Fire Center reported that 97 fires have burned 4.7 million acres across the west.

“More than 29,000 firefighters and support personnel are assigned to wildfires. Evacuation orders are in place for 40 large fires in California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Idaho, and Utah,” the agency reported.

You may think this a little harsh, but if they caused deaths because of these fires, they should be burned at the stake.

I was thinking under the tracks of a larger Fire CAT but I defer to your greater wisdom.

What would be perfect would be to be tie them to a to a tree in the line of the advancing fire so they can watch their demise unfold.

The climate change pimps will go full out trying to blame this on "global warming", most notably Insley, Brown and Newsom, the governors of the western states. They all want to impose more taxes to fight climate change, of course, the money will most likely be poured down the public pension rat hole or some other useless waste of funds on the socialist agenda.

What really needs to happen is that forest practices need to be revised to decrease the fuel load in the forests to prevent the catastrophic fires to begin with. When timber companies managed large tracts of forest land, they had crews out spraying and clearing the brush to mitigate fuel loads. These days all that crap is left growing as it is designated as "habitat" with the predictable result. I am still waiting for some environmental wacko to explain to me how if the forests burn every few years how that is an advantage to the critters who live there.

And yes, rebuilding the mental health system to get the crazies off the streets and out of the forests would also help.

We should should go back to "Let the punishment fit the crime".

If the fires they set killed someone, tie them to a nice dry dead tree, while telling them about the person they killed and let the fire they started close in.

If they caused multiple deaths; stake them down in dry grassy areas and let their fire run trough. Start in short grass and stake them down in progressively heavier covered areas in the path of the fire for each victim.

Fire might be too quick, how about staked out next to a fire ant hill covered in honey.

Now you've done it... You made me a huge fan of Fire ants... :)

Damn good group of people here. I like the Fire ant plan for the MSM. Stake them down on an ant hill for 10 minutes per confirmed lie they print or broadcast. Any college professors and K-12 management and faculty pushing or teaching false information as well.

It's all by design at this point. After a media blitz highlighting the "once in a generation wind storm" and it being optimal for spreading fires. Within 48 hours we had every type of fire you can drum up.

I could see it coming down the road.

The common denominator for so many of these people with "mental health issues" is a history of drug abuse both illicit and prescription. They can't be fixed, the damage is permanent.

I’ll never believe this. Every year when the time is right these pricks come out and start fires. They’re either crazy, stupid, fire perverts or they just want attention. Couple years ago one of these pricks was determined to burn our town down. Our city government told our police (LA County Sherrif Dept) to do whatever it takes to catch this prick. The cops were out in force hiding everywhere. Within a week they caught him lighting a hill less than a mile from our house in Santa Clarita. We thank god every day to live in a conservative run town out here. I’m sure if we checked newsome has furloughed this fire bug prick back to the streets. It’s on purpose or it’s lightning. I’d guess an 80/20 split.

Death penalty, nothing less for these POS's. Maybe others will take notice. Time to set an example.

I know you think it’s a lost cause out here but I can’t help to look back at the fall of Saigon and think we just gave it to them. I know it would be easy to leave but I just can’t get aboard that chopper just yet. Don’t lose all hope for us yet, there are a lot of us still out here fighting the good fight every day to take our state back. We have kids while they laugh at us and raise dogs. Give it time brother! Give it time.

A gent that I worked with was 19 and on that last helicopter that left Saigon.
He wishes he had been able to leave earlier.
Hope reminds me of a saying my Dad used to say “If you hope or wish in one hand and shit in the other, you end up with a pile of shit in your hand “

    Good luck hoping.
