As I mentioned in my Sport Fury restoration thread, I got another car. It is the very definition of "barely street-able". I absolutely love it. I purchased this car as it is exactly what I wanted to build for less than I could. I've decided to call it "Rush" as it is a Canadian built car. Here are a few pictures to refresh your memory.

I will post some more tonight.
By the way, everything that people say about the 383 vs 440 is absolutely true. Especially for a fire breathing beast like this one. The only things I am doing in the near future are adding my Trick Flow heads, and a roll cage (track rules). Of course, I will post about everything I do if you all would like to see it. I am very happy to be the next caretaker of this wonderful automobile. Also, thank you 11secondC for being so helpful in the logistics of getting the car here.

Thought I recognized Dana's car, glad to see it has found a good home and an owner that will look after it.

Not stroked. Just really well built. It runs on E85. It makes ~570 HP. It should make closer to 600 HP when I'm done. Here are some specs from the ad:

'70 440 0.030" overbore, block was decked, linehoned, ARP bolts throughout. SRP pistons 11:1, steel crank 10/10. Moroso 7 qt oil pan. 200 psi cranking pressure.

Edelbrock Victor intake, 850 DP E85 Holley by Horsepower Innovations.

    Hedman 1 3/4" B/E headers, 3" exhaust with H pipe.

Crane HI-6 ignition box/coil. Locked out MP distributor.

Fresh Edelbrock RPM heads, Comp Cams hardware, 928 springs, 10 deg locks.

New Howards Cams, mechanical solid 722362, 0.550/0.555" lift, 254/260 duration, 108 centerline, Howards Cams Direct Lube solid lifters.

Crane Ductile adj rockers, MP hardened shafts

    Awesome!!!
Why switch out the heads? Is it going to be that big of a difference from the RPM's that are on it now?

    Yes. It is.
The Eddy's flow about 290 CFM. The Trick Flow heads run 340 out of the box. For this particular engine, it should make a drastic difference. Please, feel free to correct me if I am wrong. The Edelbrocks will be going on one of my 383's.
