So I have two of these 15" wheels on the 66 VIP parts car that have clips in the center. Can anyone tell me what the clips are for and what car they would go with?

Clips held the old style hub caps in place. Probably mid '50's after 16" wheels went out of style.

This is an original 15" x 6" wheel from my '63 300J, they were carry over parts from the fifties. I've seen them also on some station wagons up till 1964. If they are 6" wide rims, they are very hard to find.
