What is that rear window clip ?

Hello everyone,

After removing the rear window of my '70 Sport Fury, I noted 2 types of clips. The first one are the trim clip, but I do not know the use of the other (in the photo below).

Can someone tell me ?

Those are on the lower edge, correct? They keep the gap for the bottom edge of the glass when installing.

Yes they are located at the lower edge.

There were only two on my 69 Monaco, one left and one right. As for replacements, I have no answer. They are spot welded on. The windshield, on the other hand, used a rubber shim/spacer under the glass to set the height.
