Back in the muscle car days engineers that worked with Dad ordered sure grip thinking it was necessary in their h.p. cars. Until the *** end came around on them in the first rain shower.
In fact Mom ended up facing the wrong way on Northwestern Hwy. during rush hour with our 65 Sport Fury. The last car we had with sure grip!
too muck power for him ?i has a 73 polara with a built 400 it was my dayly driver for 13 yrs the shure grip got me out of a jam many of times & put in 1 the 1st time i jumped on it but i learned quicky how to drive it

What's wrong with a one-legger 440 with 2.76 gears?

Thought I would give you an 2022 update on my 65 NYer. Had a new windshield installed, had to replace the gas tank, sealed the gas tank, new coil and engine bay clean up. Did a lot of local driving in 2022. I did nothing to the differential. Looking forward to 2023 to do some painting and working on the fuse block and light issues. Thank you guys for all of your help. Keep tuned in. I am sure I will be reaching out as soon as it warms up here.

I did not do anything about my differential last year, but I wanted to give you all an update on my 2022 progress. Had the NYer ready to go at the beginning of the summer. Filled up the gas tank and the guy behind me pointed out that my gas tank was leaking. So, I installed a new gas tank, cleaned the gas tank, sealed the new gas tank, installed a new coil, cleaned up the engine bay and had a new windshield installed. Anxious for the weather to break so I can get working on the fuse block, brake lights and paint some body panels. Looking forward to a great 2023.
Thank you for all of your help. Don't know how I could have done it with out "For c Bodies Only"! You guys are the best.
